La Néozélandaise Adams remporte le lancer de poids

La Néozélandaise Valerie Adams a remporté l’épreuve du lancer de poids de la neuvième édition du Meeting international Mohammed VI d'athlétisme, troisième étape de la Ligue de Diamant, disputée dimanche au complexe sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah à Rabat.

Adams a réalisé un meilleur lancer de 19,68 m, devançant la Hongroise Anita Marton (18,51 m) et l’Américaine Brittany Smith (17,84 m).

Avec une année 2015 difficile à son actif, Adams, championne olympique du lancer du poids, a pu, cependant, réaliser un meilleur lancer personnel.
