Soufiane El Bakkali, the global superstar of the 3000m steeplechase, is a double Olympic Champion in Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and Paris 2024 Olympic Games, as well as a double World Champion in World Athletics Championships Eugene 2022 and World Athletics Championships Budapest 2023. He has been the undisputed king of the 3000m steeplechase for the past five years.
Undefeated in Rabat since 2022, he set a stunning meeting record in 2023 with a time of 7:56.68.
