The Olympic long jump champion Miltiádis Tedóglou at the 13th Mohammed VI International Athletics Meeting

Olympic champion of the discipline at the 2020 Olympic Summer Games in Tokyo, Miltiádis Tedóglou won the gold medal at the Indoor World Championships in Belgrade on 18 March with a jump to 8.55 m established on his second try, improving his own Greek indoor record. 

In 2019, the Greek won the final of the European indoor championships in Glasgow with a jump to 8.38 m, the best world performance of the year and national indoor record, ahead of Sweden’s Thobias Nilsson Montler (8.17 m) and Serbia’s Strahinja Jovančević on the podium (8.03 m).
